I went to the Green Day/My Chemical Romance concert in Pittsburgh on.. Saturday.

So, we drive down there (we being my best friend Danielle, her sister Ashley, her sister's boyfriend Jared, and two friends Laura and Rachel), yeah? We decide we're hungry, so Rachel starts asking random people where a good place to eat is (because she just can), and we get a pizza place or The Superbowl. So we're all walking down to where these two places are, and there are these other people in front of us, and this hobo looking dude pops up out of no where and is all "I'm your city sultan!! Follow me for the best places to eat!!" So the people in front of us follow the dude and Ashley and Rachel do, too, and Danielle and I are just kinda walking behind them and infront of the rest of our group because we didn't want to abandon anyone. So we get to the corner of the street and Ashley and Rachel are still following the dude, everyone else stopped, and Danielle and I slowed down because we didn't know where the hell we were going. Then Jared and his friends Corey & Corey (yeah) are like, yelling at them to come back before they get kidnapped and raped. So we end up eating at The Superbowl...

The concert was really good. I'm not a huge MCR fan so I didn't really know any of their songs, but they only played for half an hour or so then set up for Green Day. Now Green Day rocked out. They played 4-5 songs off of American Idiot, but they also threw in some of their older stuff, which is good considering they've been around for over 10 years. And they did some covers but I'm pretty sure they play them at most every concert; Shout (yeah.. that was interesting hearing Billie Joe sing "Shout"), We Are The Champions, and Knowledge.

After it was over none of us could really talk to we went to Eatin Park at like, 12:30 in the morning for something to drink. But then of course that led to breakfast specials, sundaes, and cheese sticks.

So I came out of the whole thing with a t-shirt, poster, closer to my best friend, no voice, and a -lovely- cold! Now I can't talk and sound like I'm dieing when I cough.
